Semester Ticket

From the summer semester 2025, the Deutschlandsemesterticket will be made available to eligible students by the S-Bahn as a digital ticket via the S-Bahn app.
As soon as you have re-registered/enrolled and we have reported the data to the S-Bahn, you will receive an email from the S-Bahn with an activation link. You register in the S-Bahn app and can then retrieve the current ticket. Instructions can be found here in the attachment.

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is valid in the summer semester from 01.04. to 30.09. and in the winter semester: 01.10. to 31.03., i.e. for 6 months in each case.

All students can apply for a subsidy for the semester ticket from the social fund.

Application deadlines are: January + February for the summer semester application and June + July for the winter semester application.
