Students of the weißensee academy of art berlin can use the ABC fare zones of the Berlin and Brandenburg public transport (VBB) with their semester ticket if it indicates the hologram and imprint. The price is included in the semester fees that all students must transfer to the school for enrollment and re-registration. It is valid for 6 months (winter semester 1.10. - 31.3., summer semester 1.4. - 30.9.) and you can take up to three children, luggage, bicycles, and dogs free of charge. The semester ticket is also your student ID and only functional in conjunction with a valid official personal document with photograph. Changes of any kind (welding, laminate) are not allowed. The semester ticket is not transferable. That is why you can not give it to anyone else. If you are unable to use the ticket for medical reasons or because you will be out of town for studies-related reasons, you can apply to be exempted from the semester ticket fees.

All students can apply for a subsidy for the semester ticket from the social fund.
Application deadlines are: January + February for the summer semester application and June + July for the winter semester application.

If you ever lose or have your semester ticket stolen, you must apply for a new one at the Enrollment Office. The replacement ticket costs 10,23 €. Payment must be made by (credit) card to Margit Bernhardt, room A1.12.
