Berlin Study Orientation Week, June 8–12, 2026
At the end of the academic year, around 860 artists and designers from the weißensee school of art and design berlin present their study and graduation projects. Visit the studios of all departments and workshops and be inspired! Students and professors will also be on site. Take the opportunity to find out more about applying and studying. The student advisory service will be there for you at the information table throughout the weekend. There will also be various department tours on offer.

On this page, you will find an overview of the consultation dates for the individual deaprtments when applications open in November.
The design departments: Fashion Design, Product Design, Textile and Material Design & Visual Communication offer an 8-semester Bachelor's programme (240 ETCS), after which you can apply for the two-year Master's programme (120 ETCS). The diploma programmes in Fine Arts with the degree courses: Painting, Sculpture and Stage and Costume Design comprise a standard period of study of ten semesters and you will graduate with a diploma (300 ETCS). All undergraduate degree programmes start with a one-year artistic and creative foundation course.
The Master's degree programme in Spatial Strategies lasts 4 semesters and 120 ETCS are acquired here.

On Facebookand Instagram, the press and public relations department provides ongoing information about news from the university, such as current information days as well as exhibitions and events. In addition, individual departments use Instagram to present study projects. There is also a newYoutube-Channel, which is constantly being expanded with informative videos about the degree course, workshops and current events.
