Spree&Berlin - Stimme für die Spree
Das Projekt erforscht die Beziehung zwischen Berlin und der Spree, dem urbanen Raum, den Bürgern und dem Gewässer. Wie kann dem Fluss eine eigene „politische“ Stimme gegeben werden? Mithilfe eines Bojennetzwerks macht das Gewässer auf Verschmutzung aufmerksam. Digitale Werkzeuge und Medien wie Messgeräte und App erfassen den Ist-Zustand des Flusses und vermittelt diesen den Bürgern*innen auf zugängliche Weise. Auch werden spannende geschichtliche und aktuelle Beiträge rund um das Thema kommuniziert. In den heißen Sommermonaten pumpt die Boje Sauerstoff in den Fluss und versorgt die Spree und ihre Lebewesen damit.
The project explores the relationship between Berlin and the Spree, the urban space, the citizens and the water. How can the river be given its own „political“ voice? With the help of a buoy network, the river draws attention to the pollution. Digital tools and media such as measuring devices and apps record the actual state of the river and communicate this to the citizens in an accessible way. Also, exciting historical and current articles about the topic are communicated. During the hot summer months, the buoy pumps oxygen into the river and supplies the Spree and
its inhabitants.
