Mart Stam Gesellschaft e.V.

The Mart Stam Society, the support and friends' association of the weissensee school of art and design berlin, sees itself as a network for graduates, alumni, and friends of the art academy. For a small annual membership fee, interested parties can become members and are invited to events and other activities. In addition, the board of the Mart Stam Society decides up to four times a year on project funding for artists. Applications can be submitted to the rector's office of the art academy. The Mart Stam Society also awards the Mart Stam Prize for outstanding final projects from all departments. Stay connected! - By registering with the graduate/alumni network seeyou, you will have the opportunity to stay in touch with the weissensee school of art and design berlin.  The network provides information about art and design calls, invitations to events (such as the Rundgang and the alumni/graduate reception), and offers for learning opportunities aimed at professional development specifically designed for graduates.

DesignFarmBerlin was the Design-in-Tech Accelerator at the weissensee school of art and design, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The Berlin Start-up Grant was awarded from 2016 to 2023. DesignFarmBerlin has always seen itself as a growing community and sustainable institution at the art school.

EXIST start-up network

The EXIST start-up network has been a long-standing pillar of the start-up division at the weissensee school for art and design. Through financial support (EXIST start-up grant, EXIST research transfer, EXIST Women), coaching, and networking, it promotes spin-offs, knowledge transfer, and creates sustainable start-up structures for students, graduates, and researchers at the weißensee kunsthochschule berlin

UNITE

The UNITE consortium, which emerged from the flagship competition of the Start-up Factories of the BMWK's EXIST program, promotes innovative start-up structures at (art) colleges. The aim is to establish sustainable ecosystems for research-based start-ups, especially in future technologies. The weissensee school of art and design has been involved in this alliance of universities from Berlin and Brandenburg since 2024.

German Design Graduates (GDG) offers design graduates a constantly growing platform for greater visibility and entry into the cultural and creative industries through exhibitions, mentoring, and networking.

The HUB e.V.

Graduates of the art academy have come together in an interdisciplinary manner to exchange professional experiences in art education and cultural education, launch innovative projects, and gain further qualifications. The focus is on the development and research of artistic and creative processes in teaching, education, and cultural education. Artistic contributions and productions are promoted and made known to a wider public through exhibitions, lectures, performances, workshops, projects, and lectures, as well as through continuing education courses and excursions.
