Mart Stam Award
Outstanding final projects from the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin are honored with the Mart Stam Prize. Sponsored by the Mart Stam Society, the prize was first awarded in 1997 and has been presented annually ever since. Graduates from all disciplines can apply with their final projects (bachelor's/master's/diploma). The prize consists of a catalog and a group exhibition featuring all prize winners from the respective year. The call for entries is announced publicly at the university during the summer semester, and the application deadline is in November. The selection is made by an interdisciplinary jury composed of external experts and members of the Mart Stam Society.

Joachim-und-Frauke-Baumgarten-Preis
In the Master's degree program in art therapy, the Joachim and Frauke Baumgarten Prize is awarded annually to the graduate with the best final grade and is endowed with €1,000. The prize has existed since 2012 and is sponsored by the Park-Klinik Weißensee.

Bernhard-Heiliger-Scholarship – for sculptors
In memory of the sculptor Bernhard Heiliger, the Bernhard Heiliger Foundation awards an annual scholarship to sculptors at the weissensee school of art and design and the Berlin University of the Arts in the form of a one-time payment of €1,000, combined with a public presentation of the winner's works at Heiliger's studio in the Kunsthaus Dahlem, Käuzchensteig 8, 14195 Berlin.
Graduates with a focus on sculpture can apply up to five years after completing their studies

Dorothea-Konwiarz-Scholarship – for female painters
Application requirements:
Applicants must have studied fine art/painting for at least five semesters at the weissensee school of art and design or at the Berlin University of the Arts (UDK), must not be older than 35, must submit samples of their work, and must be able to justify their decision to become a painter in their application. In addition, they must disclose their financial circumstances and thus justify support from the non-profit foundation.
The call for proposals begins at the start of the year (January to March).
The amount of financial support for one year is currently approximately € 850 per month. Approximately six artists are selected per funding year.
The scholarship holders are given the opportunity to present their paintings to the public in a group exhibition and a duo exhibition in the foundation's own gallery.
The funding year runs from July 1 to June 30 of the following year.

Elsa-Neumann-Stipendium NaföG – Nachwuchsförderungsgesetz
Once a year, a committee awards grants to graduates of art-related degree programmes who have achieved results well above the average. The grants are intended to support the development of artistic projects and are available for the subject areas of fine art and design.

The current call for applications for 2026 has been published, and graduates in artistic disciplines can now apply for an artistic project grant for the funding period from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2028.
