see up workspaces / studio spaces
Since July 2018, the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin has been offering see up studio spaces for graduates at favorable conditions at Liebermannstraße 75-83. Located near the art academy, the workspaces in three large studios are available to graduates and master students from all disciplines.
A jury consisting of representatives from the fields of fine arts, design, the mart stam stiftung für kunst + gestaltung, the management of the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin, the Atelierbeirat BBK, the GSE Gesellschaft für StadtEntwicklung gGmbH, and the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion selects candidates for the workspaces from among the applicants. The award is initially for one year and can be extended.
Spaces of around 20 square meters are rented for approximately €165 (excluding electricity, including Wi-Fi, heating, use of common areas such as kitchen, toilet facilities, elevators), depending on the application situation and number of users. All graduates of the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin can apply up to three years after graduation. The application period takes place annually in early summer.
