Start-up support

Start-up consulting

The path from idea to implementation is often complicated. The start-up department at weißensee kunsthochschule berlin offers various consulting and support formats for students and graduates.

See_Women Scholarships

With See_Women, the KHB provides a platform for female graduates and students to further develop their start-up ideas as part of the EXIST Women programme. Female artists and designers at the university are given the opportunity to acquire and deepen essential skills for their entrepreneurial practice, for example in the areas of financial management, legal basics or business model development.

The programme, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics, offers a 3-month scholarship programme, a material costs budget and a workshop programme:

  •  3-month scholarship: graduates €2,500 gross/month; students €1,000 gross/month (expected start date 1 May 2026) plus a monthly child allowance
  • Budget for material costs: €2,000 per scholarship holder
  • Workshops on creative entrepreneurship, coaching/mentoring and peer learning by the KHB start-up department
  • Submission of applications in PDF format by 15 March 2026

To apply: please fill out one of the two PDFs and send it to us: gruenden(at)kh-berlin.de
