Soft Rapid Prototyping Lab

 

 

Das Soft Rapid Prototyping Lab ermöglicht digitales Prototyping mit oder für die Herstellung von Textilien. Es unterstützt insbesondere den Transfer in die Industrie oder Forschung und dient durch seine Materialbibliothek als Ort des Austauschs. Das Lab ist mit einer Vielzahl von Prototyping-Maschinen und Werkzeugen für die Textilherstellung ausgestattet, darunter Jacquardweben, Doppelbettstricken (Jacquard), Garnspinnen und -zwirnen sowie Sticken.

Die Werkstatt steht Studierenden aller Fachbereiche nach vorheriger Terminvereinbarung und Einweisung offen!

The Soft Rapid Prototyping Lab enables digital prototyping with or for the production of textiles. It particularly supports the transfer to industry or research and serves as a place of exchange through its material library. The lab is equipped with a wide range of prototyping machines and tools for textile fabrication, including jacquard weaving, double-bed (jacquard) knitting, yarn spinning and twisting, as well as embroidery.

The lab is open to students of all departments after prior appointment and briefing!
