Committees

The committees of the weißensee kunsthochschule berlin decide on all important matters relating to teaching and studies. They are democratically constituted and are elected at regular intervals. In addition to the Rectorate, the most important governing body is the Academic Senate, which can also appoint commissions. Its composition and tasks are regulated in the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz).
