Home Land Security

Home Land Security is based in Berlin Moabit at the ZKU (Siemensstr. 27, Berlin Moabit). I moved in that place while it is still under construction. So I am some kind of first resident here. From the 6. of May to the end of the summer term I´ll stay here to do some research for my studies in Space Strategies.

 

I´ll follow the approaches of Foucault´s "Heterotopias" and Amin/Thrift "Re-Imagining the City" to explore more of the "exotic" island Moabit.

 

Using a Caravan as Exhibition and Observation Space is one part of the project. Finding out what´s behind the meanig of the words HOME, LAND & SECURITY is another part.
