EMMA ist ein Mobilitätshilfsmittel-Kon-
zept für kleine Bergsiedlungen Europas.
Es setzt dort an, wo kurze Wege durch
Topografe, Treppen und historische
Strukturen zur Barriere werden.
EMMA überträgt das Prinzip eines Trep-
penlifts vom privaten Treppenhaus in
den größeren Kontext des Dorfes und
kann zusätzlich zu einer Rollstuhlraupe
umgebaut werden.
Dadurch unterstützt EMMA dort, wo
feste barrierefreie Infrastruktur fehlt
oder nur schwer umsetzbar ist.

EMMA is a mobility aid concept for
small mountain settlements across
Europe. It addresses places where short
everyday routes become barriers due to
topography, stairs, and historic village
structures. EMMA transfers the principle
of a stairlift from the private staircase
to the wider context of the village. It
can also be converted into a wheelchair
crawler.
In this way, EMMA provides support
where fxed barrier-free infrastructure is
missing or difcult to implement.
