Wir haben uns als Gesellschaft Klima-
ziele gesetzt. Sie streben einen CO₂-
neutralen Gebäudesektor bis zum Jahr
2050 an. Addhemp adressiert diese Ziele
mit Vorschlägen zu CO₂-Einsparungen
durch innovative Fertigungsprozesse,
kombiniert mit potenziell CO₂-negativen
Materialien. Während Hanfkalk als tradi-
tioneller Baustoff so sein Potenzial neu
entfalten kann, verspricht auch der 3D-
Druck neue Möglichkeiten zur Reduk-
tion. Betrachtet und entwickelt wurden
Setup, Materialrezeptur und ein Ent-
wurf, der die Prozesse in der Bauindus-
trie maßgeblich beeinflusst und gleich-
zeitig gängige Baupraxis mitdenkt.

We as a society set climate targets. These
aim for a CO₂-neutral building sector by
2050. Addhemp addresses these targets
with proposals for CO₂ savings through
the use of innovative manufacturing
processes combined with potentially CO₂-
negative materials. Whilst hempcrete, as a
traditional building material, can once
again unfold its potential, 3D printing
promises new opportunities for reduction.
Setup, material recipe and a design that
significantly impacts the processes of the
construction industry whilst taking
current building practices into account
were examined and developed.
