Der urbane Raum wird zunehmend verdichtet. Der Konflikt um die Aufteilung des städtischen Raums nimmt zu. Darüber hinaus wächst das Bewusstsein für Umwelt und persönliche Lebensqualität. Das Auto verliert zunehmend seine Berechtigung zugunsten eines fußgänger- und fahrradfreundlichen Stadtraums, elektrische oder hybride Mikromobilität und selbstfahrende Fahrzeuge setzen sich durch. WHAYE ist das Konzept eines Krankenwagens für künftige Infrastrukturen im verdichteten urbanen Raum.

 

In the future, cities could become increasingly dense. This is opposed by a growing awareness of the environment and personal quality of life. The way urban space is used is becoming critical in an atmosphere of growing shortage of space. The conflict over the allocation of urban space continues to intensify and in some districts the car is being

replaced in favour of a pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly urban landscape. Electric or hybrid micro-mobility and self-driving cars become widely accepted. The maxim being: decelerate, downsize and a small ecological footprint. WHAYE is a concept of an ambulance for densified urban spaces of the future.
