Soft Grid ist ein textiles Niedervolt-
Stromsystem, das elektrische Infrastruk-
tur aus der Wand löst und als flexible
Ebene in den Raum überführt. Ein leitfä-
higer Textilgurt führt Energie durch den
Raum und wird zugleich zum gestalteri-
schen Element. Keramische Halterun-
gen ermöglichen eine frei anpassbare
Führung, während klammerbasierte Ad-
apter mit USB-C feste Steckdosen erset-
zen. Über direkte Interaktionen mit dem
Gurt lassen sich Produkte wie Leuchten
und Lautsprecher steuern. So verbindet
Softgrid Energieversorgung, Nutzung
und räumliche Gestaltung zu einem
offenen, wandelbaren System.

Soft Grid is a textile low-voltage power
system that frees electrical infrastructure
from the wall and brings it into the room
as a flexible layer. A conductive textile
strap carries energy through space while
becoming a design element itself. Ceramic
mounts allow it to be routed freely, while
clip-on USB-C adapters replace fixed
outlets. Direct interaction with the strap
controls products such as lights and
speakers, creating an open, adaptable
system that connects power, use and
spatial design.
