FIXECURE ist eine völlig neue Art von „Gips“, die leichter, atmungsaktiver, haltbarer und schneller aushärtet als die herkömmliche Methode. In erster Linie stabilisiert die individuelle Struktur das Handgelenk, dies ist ein entscheidender Schritt bei der Knochenheilung. Im Gegensatz zu Gipsverbänden, die die Luftzirkulation einschränken, halten die offene Form und die luftige Hülle des Fixecure den Körper trocken und lassen die Luft über der Haut zirkulieren. Nicht zuletzt passt sich der Fixecure durch seine maßgeschneiderte Form genau dem Arm an. Jeder Fixecure ist individuell und basiert auf einem Scan der betroffenen Körperpartie. Dieser Prozess ist automatisiert, so dass direkt aus dem Scan ein kodiertes Modell erstellt werden kann, das im Handumdrehen für den 3D-Druck bereit ist!

 

FIXECURE is an all-new type of “cast” that aims to be lighter, more breathable, more durable, and quicker-to-set than the old-fashioned way. First and foremost, the custom structure stabilizes the wrist, this is a crucial step in bone healing. Unlike plaster casts that restrict air circulation, the Fixecure's open shape and airy shell keep the body dry and allow air to circulate over the skin. Last but not least, the Fixecure's custom shape fits the arm precisely. Each Fixecure is individual and based on a scan of the affected area of the body. This process is automated so that a coded model can be created directly from the scan, ready for 3D printing in no time!
