PEARL // Autonomous camera

Have you ever wanted to capture a moment but without having to stop and take yourself out of it? Often the most memorable or authentic photos capture a moment of spontaneity, ideally without having to stop and curate it. So the question is:

 

"How might we create memories without disrupting the moment?"

 

What if there was an eye in the sky floating around capturing our interactions with each other and the world around us? Introducing PEARL, "your eye in the sky" capturing and sharing authentic moments as they happen. PEARL is an autonomous camera flying within 3 metres of the phone it's synced to. It captures images and short videos using a Machine Learning algorithm that determines moments of interests based on facial and motion recognition.
