C.A.P.D. Smart Helper

Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis(C.A.P.D.) is the most common treatment for chronic kidney disease. This treatment modality impose lifestyle restrictions in patients and the time demands involved lead to side effects, such as loss of daily life and time control. I developed a concept to make the treatment portable by implementing wearable technology, providing, not only a better treatment experience but also more flexibility and control to patients over their daily life. The result is a vest with freely attachable technology components, that allows the patient to carry the treatment and perform it outside home or while doing other activities.
